Come and meet new people at North Garden’s first recipe exchange!

The price of entry is a batch of cookies (preferably homemade) if you have the time.

Explore and share the adventures of cooking whether it is historical, regional, dietary or family recipes, this group provides support with helpful tips to enjoy new flavors and cuisines.

We enter all recipes into a communal scrap book, so if there is a recipe that someone brings that you didn’t get chance to try out, you can come back and find it whenever you like.

Please bring one recipe that correlates with this month’s theme of “Fried food”. Air fried, flash fried or deep fried we love them all!

Over the course of the meet up we will go over food items that are more readily available during the late spring season and some good dishes that can be made from them.

There will be plenty of cookbooks for you to browse through. I will also be bringing a vintage cookbook to look through with some great southern recipes, filled with a history of ol' New Orleans restaurant scene.
