Jackson, Pendergrass, & Townsend creates original music in the jazz/blues tradition. A 3-piece trio featuring Denise Jackson on vocals, Marcus Pendergrass on keys, and Kenneth Townsend on guitar, JPT is based in central Virginia and plays throughout the state.
JPT embraces and celebrates the diversity and breadth of America in our music. You will hear a Willie Dixon blues juxtaposed comfortably with a hit from Marvin Gaye. A Wayne Shorter instrumental complimenting a Hank Williams Sr. classic. And you will hear original music that incorporates all these influences, and more.
Reservations are encouraged if you'd like to secure a table inside by the fire or near an outdoor fire pit!
