Live Music in the Orchard: Ken HerringtonLive Music in the Orchard: Ken Herrington
Come sip cider and enjoy some live music. Singer and songwriter Kenn Herrington strummed his first guitar when he was eight. Over the years, Kenn carved time during his career in the steel business to play in several rock bands, including Night Shift, Blind Wolf Myron, and The Sitting Ducks. He was also part of an acoustic trio, Applewood, and was part of an acoustic duo, Mike and Kenn, for many years. Flash forward: Kenn currently performs solo, in The Bob and Kenn Duo, and with Jefferson Speedboat.

Cider & Yoga (5/4)Cider & Yoga (5/4)
Join us on May 4th, 2025 for yoga & cider, guided by Ellen Goldlust. Ellen Goldlust is an RYT-200 Yoga Alliance–certified instructor who has been teaching yoga since 2016, and practicing for much longer. The class will be beginner-friendly (no experience required!) and appropriate for all levels of fitness, with lots of modifications offered to make the practice more or less challenging. We’ll focus on releasing tension, creating an inner calm that yogis can take with them off the mat, and most of all having fun!
For these colder months, our yoga classes are held indoors in our sunny Orchard Room. Later in the year, classes will be held outdoors on the flat lawn surrounded by the apple trees (weather permitting). Each ticket includes one glass of cider per guest (NA options available too) Please bring your own yoga mat, and plan to arrive 15 minutes early (10:45 am) to get arranged for this one hour class beginning at 11am. Water and bathroom facilities are available at the location. Class sizes are small, so sign up in advance to reserve your space. Classes cost $25 per guest (discount for InCider Club Members) Upcoming classes (all on Sunday mornings): May 4th June 8th

Live Music in the Orchard: Tara MillsLive Music in the Orchard: Tara Mills
Come join us for live music in the Orchard room. Inspired by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the rich musical traditions tied to them, Tara Mills describes her music as, "original mountain americana;" an original blend of folk, bluegrass, and americana. Writing and singing most of her life, it wasn't long before Tara picked up a guitar and taught herself how to express the melodies in her head through her songs and hauntingly beautiful lyrics. Influenced by bluegrass, old country, and traditional mountain folk, she creates an original sound that captures true human feeling and emotion. Based out of Charlottesville, VA, Tara plays and writes in a couple of different musical projects.

Silent Book Club 5.18.25Silent Book Club 5.18.25
Sip cider and read in quiet camaraderie. No assigned reading, no obligations. Bring your own book of choice. This is a free social event hosted in our Orchard Room. We are excited to be Charlottesville's second chapter of Silent Book Club, an international organization bringing bibliophiles together. From the official website of Silent Book Club: "At Silent Book Club, there's no assigned reading. All readers are welcome—ebooks, audiobooks, textbooks, comic books... it's BYOBook. Our events are free and support local businesses. Friends and strangers gather at a set time and location, order food or drinks, share what they're reading, and settle in for an hour of silent, sustained reading. At the end of the hour, attendees can socialize—or not! We started Silent Book Club because reading with friends enriches our lives and makes us happy. We love hearing about what people are reading (often in their other book clubs) and we think it's important to put down our phones and be social."
Schedule: 12:30 Arrive early to order food/ drinks/ chat 1-2pm Reading Afterwards: Mingle (or keep reading) You can read about the experience in Cville Weekly's "Tried it in Cville Column" thanks to talented local journalist Kristie We also have a Goodreads and a Facebook page for the group, if you'd like to connect!

Live Music in the Orchard: The PollocksLive Music in the Orchard: The Pollocks
The Pollocks are led by Jason Pollock, former guitarist, and songwriter for Seven Mary Three. In the mid-1990s, Jason penned such hits as "Cumbersome" and "Water's Edge", sold a few million albums, and toured extensively. Jason's new band was formed in 2014 when a friend told him that he needed to get back into the game. The music can best be described as American rock, with the right amount of soul: The Rolling Stones meets Jefferson Airplane. There's some Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, and Neil Young thrown in for good measure. - Light bites and hard cider will be available for purchase by the glass, bottle, or flight.
- Outside food is welcome; feel free to bring a picnic!
- ABC laws prohibit the consumption of outside alcoholic beverages
*Musicians will set up in the Orchard Room during inclement weather and the winter season
