Korean Giant
Korean Giant has the largest fruit of any of the Asian pears. It will grow to two pounds if thinned in the spring. This cultivar ripens the first week in September with golden-tan fruit. This pear is delicious when first picked but even better when chilled. This asian pear will keep for weeks when refrigerated. This is the most fire blight resistant of all asian pears.
