Burford's Redflesh
BURFORD'S REDFLESH is a tree discovered by Tom Burford, growing in Amherst County, Virginia, near Clifford. It is distinguished by dark red foliage, and the apples have a characteristic red flesh. It has yet to fruit for Vintage Virginia Apples, but has promise as a cider variety.
