CiderMaker's Choice
Cidermaker's Choice is a small batch label using experimental blends or rare apple varieties.
Tasting Notes
Each batch of CiderMaker's Choice is different. Listed below are the batches and their tasting notes. Batch #3: Dry Pomme Mary (2016) - A blend of some of our best apple varieties including Albemarle Pippin, Arkansas Black, and Pink Lady. The same blend as our Pomme Mary, but without the residual sugar. It's a full-bodied cider with a mild effervescence. Flavor notes include subtle citrus, pear, and green apple, creating a light and fruity cider that pairs well with mild cheeses, risotto, salmon, or a tarte tatin. Batch #4: Russet Blend (2017) - Made from russetted apples that have a rough, brown skin. Russetted apples are usually high in flavor and do well in cider. This cider is mellow and fruity, with a medium body and a bright finish. It pairs well with fried oysters, creamy blue cheeses, and gingerbread.
